EGC601 is a high performance 2D graphic controller for a variety of industrial applications including information terminals, medical equipments machine tools, and digital signages. Key functions for the applications are integrated in the controller. It employs an architecture flexible and power-effective to those applications, and is designed to be integrated into intel's chipset framework via PCI-Express, and to works with major RISC processors. High resolution, multiple display, alpha-blending capabilities of the controller drastically boost power of expression of information display. User specific driver software can be supported by a contract.
