Next-Generation Optical Disk Battle Fought among Booths: Blu-ray Disc Versus HD DVD
The battle for supremacy as the next-generation optical disk standard is being fought between two formats: Blu-ray Disc (BD) and HD DVD. Official proponents of these standards, the Blu-ray Disc Association and the HD DVD Promotion Group, both have booths at CEATEC JAPAN 2006, highlighting the respective features of their offerings.
