In recent years, we can see many application examples of AI technology in healthcare field. Most of those are to support medical diagnosis. Considering the lack of medical resources, we strongly expect that AI technology will be used in many medical cases. In this session, we would like to focus on the current state of advanced diagnostic and treatment systems implemented by AI HOSPITAL project, which is one of the Cross-ministerial Strategic Innovation Promotion Programs (SIP) by the government and discuss the facing issues and expectations for its implementation with our panelists from the perspectives of the government, companies, and academic societies. This session is intended for the people engaged in the healthcare industry and related industries. -

We will introduce a new AI that is effective with a small amount of data that deep learning does not exert an effect. By combining RACSIS, which performs effective variable selection, with highly explainable white-box type AI EXAMHEL, it is possible to achieve both high estimation accuracy and explanatory accuracy even with several hundred training data. In this lecture, we would like to discuss the effectiveness and potential of the proposed technology using the "estimation case of the Business Trend Index" that has actually been effective by applying this technology. -
