MIC will explain our efforts for promoting local government Digital transformation (DX), such as front yard reforms, acquiring and developing digital human resources. In addition, we will present future developments on telecommunication and digital technologies including “Local 5G,” to facilitate DX in the local community for the betterment of lives of citizens. Furthermore, to promote Evidence-Based Policy Making (EBPM), we will explain in an easy-to-understand manner how to utilize “The portal site for Japanese Government Statistics (e-Stat)”, which has been established and released as a platform for providing “statistical data” can be used as evidence.
