CEATEC 2024 Visitor Pre-registration Starts Today on the Official Website

• One-time registration allows visitors to attend two shows – CEATEC and co-hosted Japan Mobility Show Bizweek 2024 – being held simultaneously
• Reservation also started for more than 100 conference sessions held during CEATEC 2024
• Tadao Nagasaki, President of Open AI Japan and others will take the podium at special 25th anniversary session “Future with AI: Innovation & Challenge”.

The Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA: Kazuhiro Tsuga, Representative Director and Chairperson; also Chairperson of the Board, Panasonic Holdings Corporation) is pleased announce that visitor pre-registration to attend CEATEC 2024—which will be held for four days from Tuesday October 15th at Makuhari Messe (Mihama-ku, Chiba)—has started from Monday, September 2nd on the official CEATEC 2024 website (https://www.ceatec.com/en/).

This year, a one-time registration system for visitors has been adopted as two shows will be held concurrently: CEATEC 2024 and the Japan Mobility Show Bizweek 2024 (organized by Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association). This one-time registration system allows visitors to attend both shows. Our aim is to further expand opportunities for business co-creation by creating an environment that makes it easier for visitors to attend both exhibitions.

In addition to the start of visitor pre-registration, seat reservations for more than 100 conferences, which will be held during CEATEC 2024, are also being taken. Of the many conferences, one of the 25th Anniversary Special Sessions “Future with AI: Innovation & Challenge” will take place on the first day of the event, Tuesday, October 15. During the session, influencers in the field are scheduled to take the podium including Tadao Nagasaki, CEO of Open AI Japan and other exhibitors participating in the “AI for All” area developed for the 25th Anniversary Special Project. Through lectures by key personnel and influencers who are the driving force to promote AI, we will explore the future of our society that can be realized by AI. Besides the 25th Anniversary Special Session, other talk sessions are planned for the first day. “Innovators Gathering”, joined by frontrunners from across industries including Masanori Katayama, president and CEO of Isuzu Motors, Kazuhiro Tsuga, chairperson of Panasonic Holdings and other panelists will discuss sustainability. Another session related to Digital Garden City Nation is also planned, where the power of digital technology is used to solve social problems and improve the attractiveness of rural areas, while making the most of their unique characteristics. Seat reservations for these sessions are currently being accepted at the official website.

Joint exhibition with the Japan Mobility Show Bizweek 2024

CEATEC 2024 will collaborate with Japan Mobility Show Bizweek 2024, which is a business-focused event to promote co-creation between established mobility-related companies and startups leading the next generation. Extending the value of and expanding the experience in mobility through co-creation will lead to the realization of Society 5.0 initiatives.
