100+ conference sessions will be held!

CEATEC's main attraction is the ingeniously designed booths of each exhibitor, and the over 100 CONFERENCE sessions and special stage events are also hugely popular, attracting many visitors. This year, as the "Innovators Gathering in CEATEC" bringing together innovators who aim to balance economic development and social problem-solving towards Society 5.0, we will develop programs from five perspectives: "Considering Social Issues," "Creating the Future," "Mastering Technology," "Reading Global Trends," and "Supporting the Next Generation." The structure will make it easier for you to find session programs that match your visit objectives.

Reservations for the 2024 CONFERENCE and special stage sessions are scheduled to begin in early September 2024, the same time as pre-registration for visitors. Detailed schedules and programs will be announced on the official website and through the official email newsletter for registered visitors.

History

The origin of CEATEC can be traced back to the "Japan Electronics Industry Exhibition" that started in 1962. The CEATEC exhibition was composed of four sections: "Televisions, Radios and Other Audio Equipment," "Radio Equipment including Electronic Applied Equipment," "Measuring Instruments," and "Electronic Components," with 207 exhibitors and approximately 150,000 visitors over the 10-day period. The show's characteristics as a "comprehensive exhibition" that exhibited a very wide range of themes from parts to finished products have been passed down to the present day. In 2000, the Electronics Show was merged with COM JAPAN, an information and communications exhibition, to form CEATEC JAPAN. In 2007, the show attracted 200,000 visitors, firmly establishing itself as a "comprehensive exhibition of cutting-edge IT and electronics. In 2016, the exhibition was transformed into the "CPS/IoT Exhibition," bringing together everything from electronic components and devices that form the backbone of the IoT to finished products, equipment, and services that make use of these components and devices, all under one roof. It has become one of Japan's leading exhibitions that attracts a great deal of attention from society as a place where key people from Japan and abroad gather.
