Data collaboration is a mechanism for sharing and utilizing data across industry and business boundaries. Currently, there are high expectations for the smart home market, particularly in private homes, which will utilize data generated by IoT home appliances and network devices to create attractive services. In various regions across Japan, progress is being made in establishing systems for safe living through the construction of common information platforms and the sharing and utilization of data such as local welfare information. In this session, we will introduce examples of cutting-edge initiatives brought about by data collaboration, and discuss the market outlook from the consumer perspective that future data collaboration will create.
