The seminar will present the outlook of the semiconductor industry to all parties involved in the industry as well as to students who will lead the next generation of semiconductor professionals. In addition, the government and related organizations that drive the semiconductor industry will introduce their vision for the semiconductor industry and their efforts to develop semiconductor human resources in various fields.

Through cross-talk between young employees in the semiconductor industry and students, we aim to deepen the understanding of working in the semiconductor industry among students and the next generation of talent by conveying the appeal of the semiconductor industry.

In this presentation, we will introduce the seminars offered by the Information Processing Society of Japan for industry professionals, as well as the Certified IT Professional (CITP) qualification for advanced IT personnel. The first half will provide an overview of the technical seminars on the latest information technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum computing, offered through the Continuous Seminar Series 2024. The second half will explain an outline of the CITP certification system and recent trends toward digital transformation (DX).

With the diversification of consumer needs, there is a demand for a transformation towards varied and flexible production that provides appropriate value at the right time. Therefore, human flexibility is becoming important in manufacturing sites. However, the working-age population is decreasing, facing a labor shortage. To bridge this gap, a new form of manufacturing where humans play the main role and collaborate with machines is required. Experts from industry, academia, and government will discuss the future vision of manufacturing for 2030 and 2050, and the efforts towards its realization.

PowerPoint presentations are essential tools when launching projects that mobilize significant resources and people. They are indispensable when bringing new ideas to life without being constrained by past precedents. However, creating compelling and robust PowerPoint presentations is not an easy task. In many companies, the lack of skills and mindset among employees to craft proposals and presentation materials is one barrier to innovation. In this seminar, Mr. Toyomane, a former entrepreneur at Suntory, will share techniques for effective PowerPoint presentations and organizational tips to spark innovation from the ground up.

Introduced trends in the semiconductor industry to students at CEATEC. Also, senior employees will talk about their experiences in the semiconductor industry. and career development in the semiconductor industry.

The presentation will introduce know-how through practice on human resource strategies that promote the autonomous career development required in the DX era. In addition, experts will explain the Data Utilization Framework, an IT service for companies that continue to evolve with DX.

CEATEC showcases a variety of advanced technologies. In order to　utilize these excellent technologies and realize new businesses, "The ability of Project Design" is required. In our program, a professor from our university will clearly explain the key points for realizing new businesses by using new technologies (new management resources). In addition, in a discussion with graduate students who realized a new business at our graduate school, we will introduce specific cases. This will be useful for those who want to conceive a new business or solves social issues.

Programming education is being implemented in elementary schools, and students are expected to learn about the significance of learning programming and the professions that use programming. We will explain the results of our research on these advanced cases and issues. In addition, examples of education for young people in Japan that utilize generative AI will be introduced, and the future of such education will be discussed. Finally, we will introduce the programming experience game "ALOGO-LOGIC," which is permanently exhibited at the Science Museum and other facilities, and its problem creation function.

University representatives from various regions in Japan will introduce their unique semiconductor human resource development and curricula. In addition, a crosstalk session will be held on the theme of collaboration in the development of semiconductor human resources and the possibility of nationwide expansion.
