In order to promote regional revitalization and the utilization of smart agriculture, it is important to promote the development of information and communication environments that take advantage of regional characteristics. The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) ha s launched the “Promoting Organization for Information and Communication Environment in Rural Area” to provide municipalities and organizations that lack such know how with an individual district support system to provide appropriate information and suppor t for private companies in addressing specific issues. This presentation will introduce specific examples of support and the efforts of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries to utilize digital infrastructure.
