In Japan, 5G communication services have been commercially available since 2020, and the spread of these services is currently progressing. As the utilization of 5G communication expands, it is expected that 5G, and even Beyond 5G (6G) communication, will become the foundation of information and communication infrastructure, supporting all industries and social activities in the 2030s. 5G is not viewed as a mere extension of previous wireless communication, but rather as a comprehensive information and communication infrastructure, encompassing wired and wireless networks across land, sea, air, and space, and is highly anticipated globally. In this session, we will introduce the current utilization and future exciting developments in communication technologies, focusing on 5G and looking ahead to 6G, from the perspectives of land, sea, air, and space.
Lectures and panel discussions on the latest trends and future prospects of 5G industrial applications.

By introducing 5G communications, which are capable of "eMBB: Enhanced Mobile Broadband," "URLLC: Ultra Reliable Low Latency Communications," and "mMTC: Massive Machine Type Communications," as "private 5G," which can be operated independently by companies and local governments, factories and manufacturers will be able to obtain various benefits such as improved productivity and production quality. In other words, it enables a wider range of communication than conventional Wi-Fi and can cover communications in large-scale factories and outdoors. WE, JTB is aiming to create sustainable tourist attractions using DX under the theme of "Next Generation Hot Springs Tourist Attraction".
