CEATEC 2024 Exhibition Outline Announced

A comprehensive exhibition of digital innovation, celebrating its 25th anniversary, is to be held at Makuhari Messe under the special 25th anniversary theme “Innovation for All.”

The Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA: whose Chairperson is Keiji Kojima, Representative Executive Officer, President & CEO Hitachi, Ltd.) has announced the kickoff of CEATEC 2024, scheduled to be held for four consecutive days starting October 15 (Tue) at Makuhari Messe. Ever since the first exhibition in 2000, CEATEC has garnered a long history as a compass to provide solutions to the issues and challenges society faced during their respective eras, and as a place to present a future society brought about by technological innovations. After two years of being held completely online, CEATEC returned to Makuhari Messe in 2022, and will be celebrating its 25th anniversary this year in 2024. Applications for CEATEC 2024, a comprehensive exhibition of digital innovation, will be accepted from 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 15, with priority applications accepted until Tuesday, April 30.

CEATEC is one of the largest technology events in Japan, held every year in October under the exhibition purpose of “Aiming to realize Society 5.0, which balances economic development with solutions to social issues, bringing together technology, information, and people from all industries and business sectors to envision the future through ‘co-creation’.” This year, following its traditional concept of “Toward Society 5.0”, the exhibition is planning to present a number of unique events under the special theme of “Innovation for All” to mark the 25th anniversary of CEATEC. Exhibitor applications will be accepted from Thursday, February 15 for the following exhibition areas: General Exhibits area and three parks – Partners Park, Next Generation Park, and Global Park – in the Special Exhibits area.
