Is admission to CEATEC free?

Admission to CEATEC is free.
Please note that all visitors are required to "pre-register" to enter the Makuhari Messe venue and access content on the official website that requires log-in (e.g., conference attendance reservations, online session viewing, some exhibitor information, etc.).
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we kindly ask you to register before your visit. Visitor Pre-Registration

I attended last year's CEATEC. Do I need to pre-register again this year?

CEATEC admission procedures are required each year.
You can easily pre-register for the show with the e-mail address and password you registered with in 2017.
Please note that the e-mail address and password you used to register in 2016 or earlier cannot be used without modification, so please register anew. Visitor Pre-Registration

I forgot my password for the pre-registration site that I registered for.

If you have forgotten your password, you can reissue your password from this page (Forgot your password?). Please note that the visitor pre-registration site has been changed from 2017, so if you registered in 2016 or earlier, you will need to make a new pre-registration.

Can one name or e-mail address be used to pre-register for more than one person?

Registration is required for all visitors and each person must register individually.
Please register using individual email addresses, as multiple people cannot register using the same email address.

Access to the Venue

How to get to the venue?

The nearest station, Kaihin-Makuhari Station, is accessible from Tokyo Station in 23 minutes on the JR Keiyo Line limited express or 28 minutes on the rapid train.
Express buses are also available from Haneda Airport, Narita Airport, Yokohama YCAT, and Tokyo Station Yaesu Exit. Please avoid coming by car as much as possible, as it is expected to be crowded during the exhibition. Access

What are the opening/closing hours?

The event will be held daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from Tuesday, October 17 to Friday, October 20, 2023.

How to enter

What time is the admission desk open?

Registration at the registration counter will begin at 9:30 a.m. and admission to the exhibition hall will begin at 10:00 a.m.
The museum closes at 5:00 p.m., although visitors may enter until 4:50 p.m. We encourage you to arrive early to allow sufficient time for your tour.

Can I re-enter?

You may enter the exhibition as many times as you like throughout the exhibition period as long as you have your admission card with you.

Pre-Registration for Visits

How can I pre-register for a visit?

CEATEC admission procedures are required every year. Please register on the CEATEC Pre-Registration page.

I pre-registered before 2016, do I have to register anew this year, can I use the email address and password I used before 2016?

Please note that the visitor pre-registration site has been changed since 2017, so if you registered in 2016 or earlier, you will need to make a new visitor pre-registration.
You can easily pre-register for the show with the e-mail address and password you registered with in 2017.

Pre-registration site for visitors

I did not receive an email for my registration/entrance pass.

If you do not receive your membership registration/entrance pass email, the following may be the cause

• The e-mail has been misclassified as spam by your provider or other service provider, and has been placed in your spam folder or other folder.
• There is an error in the e-mail address you entered when registering for membership.
• Your mailbox is full.
• You have set up a domain name to receive e-mails from us.

Is it possible to participate on the day of the event without pre-registering to come?

You can register on the day of the event using a PC at the registration counter at the entrance of the venue.
Since the registration counter is expected to be crowded, we recommend that you complete your registration in advance on the official CEATEC website.
You can also pre-register for the show from your smartphone. Please present the completed registration screen at the admission ticket counter to receive your admission ticket.

Can one name or e-mail address be used to pre-register for more than one person?

How can I change my registered information?

Please log in to the visitor pre-registration site and select "Profile Settings" from the "Settings" button on "My Page".

I would like my admission card to be resent.

You can re-download your admission card by logging into the visitor pre-registration site and clicking on "View Admission Card" on the far right side of the event name in the Profile tab of "My Page".

Do I need to print and bring my admission card?

Please print out your own admission card, bring it with you, and place it in the holder you will receive on the day of the event.
Tickets can be issued at the admission ticket counter on the day of the event, but we recommend that you print them out in advance and bring them with you, as we expect it to be crowded.

Pre-registration for the visit is not available.

About the Exhibit Booth

It is quite difficult to take home all the catalogs and other materials from the various companies.

There will be a TA-Q-BIN reception counter at the venue.
Please refer to the venue map on the day of the event for the location of the reception desk.

Can I take photos (including cell phone shots) and videos of exhibited products at the venue?

Photographing of the venue scenery is permitted, but please obtain the exhibitor's permission before photographing specific products, etc. Please note that there may be cases in which you will be asked to refrain from taking photographs.

Can I purchase products from each company at the venue?

Please note that products will not be sold directly at the venue.

About Sessions at Makuhari Messe Venue

Reservations for each conference can be made through the pre-registration site.
Advance reservations for each session will be closed when the capacity is reached, so please register as soon as possible.

About the sessions on the official website (online)

Reservations are not required for online sessions, but you will need to pre-register and log in to the official website.
Please note that the open period differs depending on the session. The open period is listed on the official website.

Do I need to register or log in to watch online sessions?

Yes, you must pre-register for the visit and log in.

Do I need to make an auditing reservation to view online sessions?

No, you do not need to make a reservation to attend sessions conducted online.

How can I view the online sessions?

After completing your visitor registration, please access the official CEATEC website with your login and go to the detailed pages of each session of the conference to watch the sessions.

CEATEC Official Web Site > CONFERENCE > Click on the program you wish to view > Viewing screen^*.

*The session pages can be conveniently accessed from the "All Sessions List".

*The viewing screen will be accessible from the time the distribution starts.

Do you offer online sessions in English?

Some programs will be delivered in English.

Can I watch online sessions after the delivery time?

Some programs will be available until Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
Please note that the viewing period may vary depending on the program.

I live overseas. Can I watch in the same environment as in Japan?

Videos uploaded to external video sharing services are displayed, so they may not be viewable in some countries depending on the video sharing service.

Provision of Personal Information Data to Exhibitors

What is an opt-out?

CEATEC 2023 Opt-out" in CEATEC 2023 refers to a visitor's indication that he/she does not wish to provide personal information.
If a visitor clicks the "Opt-out" button, the exhibitor will not be able to obtain the visitor's personal information data.

*Some exhibitors do not collect personal information, in which case the "Opt-out" button will not appear.
